The goal of vzkb
We bring cultures together that want to exchange products, information and money. Our mediation helps the involved people to work together and live in a better and more satisfying way.
What is a culture?
There are many different definitions of the term culture. The one we use is short and flexible.1
A culture is a group of human beings that speak their own specialized language.
Based on this definition, a human being takes part in many cultures, because the term language is used in an extended fashion. There is a specialization even within one common language. For example, politicians and lawyers speak their own language within their country’s common language. As vzkb is interested in mediating between cultures, there will always be a distinction between languages, too.
These are the cultures that vzkb provide services for:
- Professional cultures, e.g. engineers, business people, lawyers, …
- Role based cultures, e.g. tester, customer, user, patient, sales, …
- Country based cultures, e.g. Germany, USA, France, Thailand, …
- Membership cultures, e.g. club, accounting department, development department, …
vzkb works in the area between these different cultures, particularly in between the IT culture and everyone else (e.g. clients, users, vendors)
- which doesn’t mean easy to apply [↩]
